It’s Australia Made Week and here at Earthtrack we are very proud of our Australian Made registered solar light towers proudly constructed at Earthtrack HQ. Elion, Mega, Maxi or Mini, each tower has been designed by our specialist R&D team of lighting engineers and designers and then brought to life by our production crew.
Our towers are specially made to tolerate the harsh conditions of the Pilbara and outback Australia. Here’s a sneak peak of how they are made.
Our Earthtrack concrete block are created using our specialised moulds. The mould is set up with PVC piping and mesh put in place and then the concrete is then poured, smoothed and pole fixtures are added before being left to dry completely.
Once the blocks aredry it is time to de-mould and then the priming and painting can take place.
Box Set Up
Our team fit out the battery boxes by installing and wiring in the preprogrammed battery controller and batteries. The battery boxes are then secured to the concrete base or pole (dependent on model).
Pole, Frames, Lights and Panels
Poles are frames are fabricated and powder coated (dependent on model). Now is time for the frames to be placed in place, solar panels to be secured, and each components cabling to be wired up and secured ready for travel.
Once ready for shipping out the site team give the lights and solar panels a last minute clean before they are loaded on a truck and driven to their destination.
